Upcoming Special Events
Here are the special events we still have upcoming this year...
Pinewood Derby
Saturday, January 23rd
The Pinewood Derby is perhaps the most loved and well known Cub Scouting activity. It's certainly the boys' most favorite thing of the year.
As always, the car kits will be passed out at the December Pack Meeting. The race is at the Elementary School as always. Check-in will start at 11am.

Blue & Gold Banquet
Saturday, February 20th
The Blue & Gold is the primary awards event of the Cub Scout year. At it's center is the Crossing Over Ceremony - marking the transition of the 2nd year Webelos up to Boy Scouts.
We begin with a dinner in the Elementary cafeteria catered by the Pack for a nominal per plate fee. After dinner, we move to the gym for the awards ceremony.
Kite Contest
Saturday, April 17th
A favorite spring event. The scouts compete with their homemade kites for categories like largest, smallest, highest flying, longest flying...The catch...everything must be biodegradable,
in keeping with the scouts tradition of protecting the outdoors.
The evening also includes a potluck hot-dog roast.
Flag Retirement Ceremony
Thursday, May 20th
We end our scouting year with this more solemn ceremony, properly and respectfully disposing of used American flags by burning.
You may collect and bring in any used flags that are beyond service.
